- A Bachelor’s Degree from any discipline (AQF Level 7) and at least 2 years of full-time (or equivalent) of teaching experience in the education sector

Students who wish to obtain the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning (PYP, MYP, or DP) must complete the course and successfully participate in a five-day IB experience. This experience is at no additional cost and is undertaken during the final semester. Students who do not complete this requirement will not be eligible for the certificate, even if they are awarded the Master of Education International Education from Murdoch University.
Students who wish to obtain the IB Advanced Certificate in Teaching and Learning Research must have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience in an IB school/IB schools, gained within 10 years of completing the Master of Education International Education from Murdoch University. Without this required teaching experience, students will not be eligible for the IB Advanced Certificate in Teaching and Learning Research, even if they have obtained the Master of Education International Education from Murdoch University.
